Our history

We are the Luis Carlos Sarmiento Angulo Cancer Treatment and Research Center (CTIC), a non-profit foundation born from a philanthropic initiative of Mr. Luis Carlos Sarmiento Angulo and his family, focused on comprehensive cancer care and research in Colombia and the region.

Higher purpose

• To be a leading hospital in cancer treatment, research and technology.
• To develop and operate a hospital which serves all types of patients with cancer, providing top quality care in the form of the best professional engagement as well as the technical resources within its reach.
• To have a significant influence in the community in terms of cancer prevention programs, through community advisory services.
• To develop research programs around the most frequent cancer and cancer care-related topics in Colombia.
