The Cancer Treatment and Research Center - CTIC - is located in the northern part of Bogota, Colombia. The address is Carrera 14 No. 169-49

CTIC offers comprehensive care for adult and pediatric oncologic patients, although at first we will focus on the adult population. We provide specialized consultation, diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine, clinical and pathology lab services, hospitalization, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and surgery.

Personalized services
At CTIC, User Experience staff available in the various functional units will offer guidance and support to patients and families and assist u with their needs.

Send your request to historiaclinica@fctic.org and attach the completed form “COPY OF CLINICAL RECORD REQUEST - ADULT PATIENT” plus the documents to support the proceeding; should the request be submitted by a person who is not the patient, we recommend that you follow the established guidelines and complete the form entitled “AUTHORIZATION TO PROVIDE CLINICAL RECORD TO A THIRD PARTY”.

Patients will be able to access CTIC services through their affiliation to the health and social security system under the contributive and subsidized regimes, provided the Benefits Plan Management organizations with a formal agreement with CTIC authorize service provision in our facilities. In summary, only the people who are authorized by the insurer with an effective agreement will be able to gain access. Access through out-of-pocket payment will also be possible to any person who may have an interest.

Partial hospitalization services are available for priority care of symptoms related to the oncologic disease or its treatment. Care is provided by an internal medicine specialist and can be scheduled in advance (priority consultation).

To access this service, make your appointment through the call center (601-7448000), on the second or fourth floors of the outpatient clinic if your are there for other medical assessments, or directly at the service located in Underground Floor 1 of the hospital.

In case of serious or severe symptoms requiring immediate care, please go to the nearest emergency service.

Laboratory test results are forwarded — prior authorization of the patient — to the registered e-mail address. Alternatively, they can be collected directly from the laboratory located on the second floor, from Monday to Friday between 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Diagnostic imaging results will be delivered through a link sent to the patient’s e-mail address (prior authorization). They can also be collected in person at the diagnostic imaging service.

Visits are allowed around the clock. However, please bear in mind the following considerations:

  • Outpatient Clinics

During the day: Up to one person is allowed to accompany patients with functional limitations and/or clinical conditions that require permanent assistance.

  • Inpatient wards

During the day: Up to two visitors are allowed at any given time, taking turns as needed.

During the night: Visitors can take turns to be with patients between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

  • Intensive Care Unit

During the day: Up to two visitors are allowed at any given time, taking turns as needed.

During the night: Visitors can take turns to be with patients between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
