At the Centro de Tratamiento e Investigación sobre Cáncer Luis Carlos Sarmiento Angulo (CTIC) we work every day to transform patient’s life through high complexity treatments, and the scientific cancer applied investigations.

Today we celebrate with pride to be designated by the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) as an Integral Center for Cancer Treatment, a distinction that integrates us to a network of more than 200 centers in more than 50 countries, recognized by accomplishing the highest international oncology standards. The @esmo_eur_oncology, with their HQ in Switzerland, is the oncology medical word leader organization and it promotes the excellency in healthcare, research and medical education.

LatamDigital Winners

Our Research and Education team earned the first place in the Excellency for Solutions of Artificial Intelligence for Health category in the 12th Awards #LatamDigital by Interlat for the study of “Identificación automatizada de la expresión de PD-L1 en tejido tumoral de pacientes latinos con cáncer de pulmón de células no pequeñas" realized with ADL.

High-Cost Account Prize

It is a pride for us to address that our Hematology Clinic Functional Unity has earned the recognition: Best result for risk management of adults with No Hodgkin Lymphoma in Colombia, given by High-Cost Account in their 6th recognition Event to the good IPS practices for the strengthen of the risk management and acquirement of better health results.

6th Oncology and Hematology National Congress

CTIC in the Latinoamerican Lung Cancer Conference (LALCA) 2024

Some specialists from the CITC participated in the Latinoamerican Lung Cancer Conference (LALCA) 2024 in Bogotá, organized by the International Lung Cancer Association (IASLC), a dynamic meeting with a large tradition that counted with the most updated research. The conversation addressed diverse interests and had educative sessions with leader experts.

It was an important opportunity to stablish contacts in disciplines centered in thoracic malignant neoplasia, it also had some space to learn about the last advancements in prevention, detection and attention with new data presentations.
